By accessing, browsing, registering for, purchasing through, or otherwise using the SoftHaven website and services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.

These Terms apply to all site visitors, customers, account holders, purchasers, gift recipients, reviewers, contributors, and other users. Additional policies, notices, product conditions, or promotional rules displayed on the website may also apply and are incorporated into these Terms where relevant.

If you use the website on behalf of a business, organization, household, or another person, you represent that you have authority to bind that party to these Terms.

Products and Product Information

SoftHaven offers furniture and home décor, including sofas, coffee tables, accent chairs, beds, dressers, rugs, cushions, lamps, mirrors, and related interior products.

We aim to present descriptions, dimensions, images, materials, finishes, colors, features, and care information accurately. However, screen settings, lighting, photography, natural materials, manufacturing tolerances, textile variation, wood grain, stone pattern, handmade details, and production changes may cause reasonable differences between digital content and the delivered item.

Natural and manufacturing variation

Variations in grain, texture, tone, veining, weave, stitching, cushion density, surface character, or finish may be inherent to the material or manufacturing process and are not necessarily defects.

Dimensions and specifications

Product measurements are generally approximate. You are responsible for reviewing available dimensions and determining whether the product is suitable for your room, intended use, delivery route, building, and access conditions.

Prices, Taxes, and Display Errors

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website and may change without prior notice. A price change does not affect an order that has already been accepted and confirmed, except where a correction is permitted by applicable law.

Taxes, duties, assessments, or similar charges may be applied according to the delivery location, transaction details, and applicable requirements. The amount shown during checkout is intended to reflect the charges known at that time.

Although we work to maintain accurate information, errors may occur. If a product, promotion, tax, shipping term, or other material detail is incorrect, SoftHaven may correct the error, request confirmation, limit the transaction, or cancel the affected order where legally permitted.

Orders and Order Acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products under these Terms. An automated acknowledgement confirms that the order request was received but does not necessarily mean the order has been finally accepted.

SoftHaven may review product availability, payment authorization, delivery eligibility, order quantity, account history, fraud indicators, address accuracy, and other transaction details before accepting an order.

We may refuse, limit, hold, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving unavailable inventory, inaccurate information, suspected fraud, unauthorized resale, payment failure, pricing errors, delivery restrictions, abuse of promotions, or violations of these Terms.

Payments and Authorization

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate payment and billing information. By submitting payment details, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and authorize the applicable charges.

Payment processing may be performed by third-party providers. SoftHaven does not control every part of an external payment network and is not responsible for delays, holds, declines, or security procedures imposed by the payment provider.

An authorization hold may appear before a final charge is completed. If an order is cancelled, the time required for a hold or refund to appear depends on the financial institution and payment method.

Discounts and Promotions

Email subscribers may receive a 15% automatic sitewide discount, and selected promotional products may receive a 20% automatic discount, subject to the conditions displayed with the promotion.

Promotions may be limited by product, collection, inventory, territory, date, order value, customer eligibility, or other stated criteria. Unless expressly stated otherwise, discounts may not be combined, transferred, exchanged for cash, applied retroactively, or used in a manner inconsistent with the promotional purpose.

SoftHaven may modify, suspend, refuse, or cancel a promotion where reasonably necessary to correct an error, prevent fraud, address technical issues, protect inventory, or respond to misuse.

Shipping and Delivery

SoftHaven provides free standard shipping on all products. The standard delivery target is three to five business days for eligible in-stock orders and destinations.

Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by product dimensions, inventory availability, carrier routing, severe weather, holidays, remote locations, building restrictions, address errors, appointment requirements, or circumstances outside reasonable control.

Orders containing multiple products may be divided into separate shipments or cartons and may arrive on different dates. Large furniture may be delivered through a different carrier or service method than parcel-sized products.

If an unexpected delay materially affects the expected shipment time, SoftHaven will provide information or options consistent with the circumstances and applicable law.

Delivery access

You are responsible for providing a complete delivery address, accurate recipient contact details, necessary access instructions, and a safe delivery location.

Service limitations

Standard delivery does not automatically include room placement, assembly, installation, wall mounting, electrical work, removal of existing furniture, or removal of packaging unless expressly confirmed for the order.

Returns, Exchanges, and Order Concerns

SoftHaven offers free returns and exchanges within 30 days, subject to the applicable return conditions, product eligibility, documentation requirements, and instructions provided for the specific order.

Products should be kept in appropriate condition and, where reasonably possible, retained with original packaging, protective materials, labels, hardware, manuals, and accessories until the return or exchange process is complete.

Items that are damaged through misuse, improper assembly, unauthorized modification, unsuitable storage, inadequate care, or use inconsistent with the product’s intended purpose may not qualify for the same remedies as an item that arrived defective or damaged.

Delivery damage

Photograph damaged cartons before opening them. Retain the shipping label, packaging, internal protection, product, and all components while the concern is reviewed.

Acceptable Website Use

You may not use the website, services, content, accounts, or checkout systems for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, disruptive, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes.

  • Do not introduce malware, malicious code, automated attacks, or harmful technical material.
  • Do not scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, or extract site content through unauthorized automated means.
  • Do not interfere with security, availability, performance, authentication, checkout, or payment systems.
  • Do not submit false orders, fraudulent claims, fabricated reviews, or misleading customer information.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, data, or administrative functions.
  • Do not use SoftHaven content or branding to impersonate the company or mislead another person.

Reviews and User-Submitted Content

If you submit a review, photograph, testimonial, suggestion, comment, message, or other content, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate another person’s rights or applicable law.

Submitted content must not be deceptive, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, obscene, infringing, fraudulent, commercially misleading, or unrelated to the product or service being discussed.

To the extent permitted by law, you grant SoftHaven a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, format, moderate, and use submitted content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the store.

SoftHaven may remove, decline, or moderate submitted content where reasonably necessary, but is not required to monitor every submission.

The website may rely on third-party providers for payment processing, hosting, analytics, fraud prevention, delivery, communication, account functionality, or other operational services.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms, privacy practices, technical requirements, availability, and security procedures. SoftHaven is not responsible for content, policies, acts, omissions, or interruptions controlled solely by an independent third party.

Suspension and Termination

SoftHaven may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the website, an account, a promotion, or a service where reasonably necessary to protect customers, systems, legal compliance, inventory, payment security, or the integrity of the store.

Reasons may include suspected fraud, repeated payment disputes, abusive behavior, unauthorized access, promotion misuse, intellectual property violations, unlawful activity, security threats, or material breaches of these Terms.

Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination—including intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limitations, dispute provisions, and indemnification—will remain effective to the extent permitted by law.

Furniture Purchasing Responsibilities

Measure Before Ordering

Furniture purchases require practical planning. Product dimensions should be compared with the room, delivery route, building access, intended use, flooring, wall structure, and any assembly or installation requirements.

Measure the Complete Delivery Route

Check exterior doors, hallways, staircases, landings, elevators, ceiling restrictions, corners, and the final room. Packaging may add additional width, height, and depth.

Confirm Room Suitability

Consider floor load, wall clearance, heat sources, moisture, sunlight, electrical access, door movement, traffic flow, ventilation, and surrounding furniture.

Follow Assembly Instructions

Use the supplied hardware and instructions. Improper assembly, missing fasteners, unauthorized modifications, or failure to secure furniture where required may create safety risks.

Use Appropriate Installation Support

Mirrors, wall-mounted items, electrical lighting, heavy furniture, and anti-tip hardware may require suitable tools, wall anchors, qualified installers, or professional support.

Inspect Before Discarding Packaging

Check all visible surfaces, components, glass, frames, upholstery, hardware, cartons, and instructions before discarding protective materials.

Can SoftHaven cancel or limit an order?

Are product colors guaranteed to match my screen?

No screen can reproduce every material or color identically. Display settings, lighting, photography, natural grain, textile variation, finish, and manufacturing tolerances can create reasonable differences.

Who is responsible for measuring furniture access?

Customers are responsible for checking product dimensions and measuring the complete delivery route, including entrances, hallways, stairs, elevators, corners, ceilings, and the final placement area.

Does free shipping include assembly?

Free standard shipping does not automatically include assembly, installation, room placement, wall mounting, electrical work, packaging removal, or removal of existing furniture.

Can discounts be combined?

Discounts may be combined only when the displayed promotional terms expressly permit combination. Promotions may also have product, date, inventory, customer, or order restrictions.

What happens if a price is displayed incorrectly?

SoftHaven may correct the error and, where legally permitted, request confirmation, adjust the transaction, or cancel the affected order. Any required refund will be processed through the appropriate payment method.

Can I copy SoftHaven images or page designs?

SoftHaven photographs, graphics, branding, page layouts, text, and other protected materials may not be reproduced or used commercially without authorization or a lawful exception.

Do these Terms remove my consumer rights?

No provision is intended to eliminate a right, remedy, warranty, or protection that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Any limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
